I don't know about you girls, but there are two essential makeup products that I simply can not live without. I like to always have mascara on my lashes and color on my lips! I feel like when I have these two things, I look presentable enough to run quick errands or answer the door when someone rings. They put a little spring in my step and make me feel somewhat girly, even in my faded jeans and a tee.
Today, I thought it would be so much fun to give away a gift set that I also have, and LOVE. I received mine for Christmas and after I experimented with the great products, thought I would give one away to one of my special bloggy friends.

Laura Mercier's Tinted Moisturiser(sorry, UK spelling!).... with SPF 20, it not only makes me look healthy it actually keeps me healthy too.
Mascara...couldn't leave the house without it! I even go to the gym with it (and I put it on if I'm sick and headed to the doctors)!! My friends often joke about how we need to have a sleep over to see what I look like sans my mascara!
I MUST have eyeliner and mascara --- I figure if the eyes pop they'll just ignore the rest ;)
I MUST have mascara and lip gloss! My lips must be moist and my lashes visible!
Mascara is my must have. My eyelashes are practically invisible, so I wear mascara all of the time.
I'm pretty low maintenance, but I can't go anywhere without my Burt's Bees Pomegranate Lip Balm.
Concealer is a MUST! I have super dark bags under my eyes, only accentuated by my 6 month old ;), so I never leave home without the concealer!

Blush, mascara, and burts bees chapstick - I'm addicted to it!
I also love Burts Bees! I use the chap stick every day, but I use their tinted balm instead of lipstick!
When I leave the house I put on a little brown mascara, just enough to curl and extend my lashes, and either tinted moisturizer with SPF or my SPF moisturizer that has glowy/sparkles in it, depending on how clear my skin is looking.
I think I'm low maintenance because, working at a bar, I have to wear a lot of slap on my face at night so now like walking around feeling "naked".
I must have mascara! It makes me look more awake. Considering I am 35 weeks pregnant and have a 2 year old, I need all the help I can get to look my best.

I can't live without my highlighter/concealer duo pen. One end covers up those hereditary dark spots under my eyes (I've resigned myself to living with them, but I don't have to show them to the world!). And with the highlighter end, I just add a little dab here and there for a bright, youthful glow!

Let's see...my must have make up item would have to be concealer. Right now, i'm a mama to a precious 7 week old and goodness me, those dark circles under my eyes from sleepless nights are in desperate need of some coverage!
I rarely wear makeup on a daily basis (although i am working on it), but I do manage to throw on a little lipstick every day so I don't look totally washed out.
I love mascara but I never leave the house without lip balm!

I adore my Bare Minerals foundation. I have pretty splotchy, rosy skin, so this really helps even me out. Sometimes I wear that alone with a little bit of blush for a "no makeup" make up look.
My eyes are sensitive so my must have is my Arbonne Mascara. It is completely chemical free so no toxic fumes to make my eyes water and run all day.

I have a lot of products that I love. One is Sue Devitt Camouflage Concealer in "Bermuda Triangle." This little undereye concealer is a miracle-worker. I have fair skin and my dark circles always seem to have been there but... oh boy, when I'm tired? They are 100x worse. This magical makeup covers them up without looking covered-up. :)
Under-eye concealer! There's one by Estee Lauder that I love, but seriously - cover girl works in a pinch. It used to be mascara, but two babies later I need to cover those dark circles.

I have an obsession right now with gray eyeshadow. It matches EVERYTHING and makes my green eyes pop. Burt's Bees is a constant must though, I'm wearing it right now in my pajamas :)

I LERVE me some Smith's Rosebud Salve. Makes your lips soft and smooth and gives a hint of color and shine. And, Bare Minerals mascara in black/brown. Best mascara I've ever used.

A little tinted moisturizer, powder and blush is my "must haves". I like to play around and test different kinds of lipstick and lip gloss when I have the chance though!
I LOVE my tarte mascara! It's does amazing things to my eyelashes but without the clumpiness of other mascaras. It's definitely my splurge when it comes to makeup.

I agree with you! Mascara and lip gloss (or, at the least chap stick) are an everyday must have! I really like the tinted glosses they sell at bath and body works. It has a minty fresh flavor and I adore it!

*Sqeeeeeeeee* I love Sephora so much! And I absolutely cannot live without DiorShow mascara - nothing else compares. Being fair-skinned with auburn hair means I have no lashes unless I coat them well with this mascara - I refuse to leave my house without it.

For me it's Cover Girl Lash Blast Mascara. I am not a fan of any other Cover Girl product but this baby plumps them up big time. My other must have is more pro-active. I use Burt's Bees on my lips every night.
Volume Blast mascara is a must. And I don't know if this counts as makeup, but I always, always wear regular old Chapstick. It makes my lips smooth and healthy, and it has SPF!
